Markus is a handy guy with roots from industrial work. He then retrained for Smed, an apprenticeship with the Swedish master smith Tord Bergelin in Skåne Höör. At Tord, Markus was for 2 years as an apprentice and learned there all the basics of forging and welding, with a special focus on medieval and Viking weapons forging. Markus was then hand -picked immediately after his apprenticeship in the spring of 2023 on the recommendation of Tord here to us at Steel by Lundbergs, this as the first employee knife smith in Sweden!
